how was I to know that I could ever be this way?

how could you know that you would ever make me sway?

is it just a quirk of fate that brings us here today

or is it just that our love has no bounds and it is here to stay?

how could I have ever known that this could come to pass?

how could I in my wildest dreams imagined this would last?

had I known what I know now I’d never doubt again

because you bring into my heart a new peace that’s held within

now I find that I care so much that I really want to be

together with you and you alone for all eternity

for sharing things forever will allow all the world to see

just how special you’ll remain and that you mean everything to me

now that we can see that we are meant to be this way

I love you the way I do and I shall never stray

you have brought back to me those smiles I share today

now I give to you my heart that will never go away

you are every, everything that I could ever want

you are just as special in your attention to my sons

I now thank God for everything that you bring into my life

this is why I know that I want you to be my wife

this is why I want you to be my wife
