will you

 will you take my hand

and not keep it there in vain

will you hold my soul

even though it doesn’t hold your name

will you touch my heart

as well as others all around

will you understand

that hatred is not sound

will you ever be

more than I have ever known

will you show to others

a true person that has not shown

will you take my hand

and give yours then in turn

then give our lives to God

asking for nothing in return
