the countdown the countdown clock kept ticking down to that final hold only to never start again that day even though it seemed on a roll
although there was no malfunction the weather ruled the day leaving things to another tomorrow before they could be on their way
but all was not in vain you see for something else arose and that was the true camaraderie by two giants who once were foes
one never would have dreamed of this many years ago that people who feared each other now working toe to toe
if others in our world could just see things here and trust that things can change it could just possibly end all wars where the innocent get killed in vain
so Godspeed to the brave astronauts that may finally soar the skies today if that countdown clock keeps ticking they will soon be on their way
to tame the heavens once again one day maybe even earth we’ll have to see and learn to love thy neighbor now from birth
so as that countdown clock keeps ticking towards that final goal if the world could only learn from this that armageddon clock might just get put on hold 5 December 2001 |
