so what about Bob?

so what about Bob?  was the question that day

as they pondered the whereabouts of who went away

what happened with him?  why does he do that?

you might have just asked about “the cat in the hat”

does he just not care or is something so wrong?

when excuses fool him as his crutch to get along

he means well for sure and he has a good heart

but to only have hindsight is bad from the start

cause there are enough things now days to stress out our lives

without all his problems and those excuses that fly

he said that he changed and eluded the best

while the change that we saw put most to the test

no drinking was now supposed to be part of the norm

yet his drinking got started with every new morn

but we can’t let him drink or he may hit the wheel

then try to dodge others as he tries to sharpen his spiel

not caring about who may get in his path

oh it’s just another obstacle he’ll get through with a swath

or an excuse that they shouldn’t of been where they were

then they wouldn’t of got hit and that’s a “for sure”

so what about Bob?  he wants you to know

as being extreme is merely just part of his show

one carefully planned with one thing in mind

how much he can charm leaving all problems behind

so what about Bob?  we still do all care

but we can’t be treated as if we weren’t there

so what about Bob?  well it’s up to him

until he allows all his excuses to just do him in
