she turned her back

she turned her back

without a second thought

now aligned with a demon

as if it was truth it wrought

she never looked back

for if she did

she may have seen the truth

but chose those lies instead

for instead of truth

now building hope on lies

and instead of love

they closed her eyes

for on the outside

she was one thing

but on the inside

she was down right mean
